Her fictional towns are full of colorful locals, unexpected connections, and enough red herrings to keep readers guessing until the final page.
When she’s not writing, Lyla can be found road-tripping through the Blue Ridge Mountains, sipping endless cups of coffee or tea, and daydreaming about cozy inns she might renovate someday—minus the dead bodies, of course.
Lyla Blue Updates:
Lyla Blue’s Silver Pines Mysteries continue to flourish, with Murder at the Spa (Book 6) now available and Books 7 and 8 arriving in the coming months. Readers have embraced the evolving friendships, small-town charm, and gentle twists that define the heart of the series. All books in the series are interconnected standalones.
Looking ahead, Lyla will debut two new cozy mystery series this year! Her bite-sized seasonal mysteries set in a cozy coffee shop, launch in August with a six-book fall-themed collection, followed by winter, spring, and summer installments. She is also expanding into Cedarbrook, North Carolina, with her new Through the Lens cozy mystery series. Cedarbrook is a charming neighboring town first introduced in Murder at the Spa. Readers can expect fresh sleuths, new mysteries, and subtle connections that weave the worlds together.
